How to remove front sight from Yugo 24/47

Hi,
I am putting it into ATI stock with built-in scope rail.

Is there an easy way to remove front sight completely?
It looks like it was put on a barrel, not welded to it.

Thanks.

Well, the blade will drift out with a hammer and punch. But as far as removing the complete band, it is soldered in place.

OK ,
Now I know, so I will share it.

1. Slide front blade out with the puncher.
2. Remove small screw that is under the blade.
3. The base is soldered to barrel with lead solder (I was told). Heat it carefully and punch slightly with the hummer of fthe barrel while heating.

Comes off nicely.
