I was too jerry !! You're leaving a lot behind, and I miss it sometimes. But I have the memories, even if it's only 24 years worth, LOL !! Congrats, and thank you for your dedication to support and defend.

Congrats, Jerry! It's a good turn of events, and I know you will have at least 26 more happy ones in retirement. Thanks also for all you have done for our freedoms. You know we appreciate it.

I almost forgot to say that you are now an OFFICIAL short-timer jerry !! You need to either carry a "short-timer's" stick (For pole vaulting) or get used to walking around the ladybugs, LOL!! When you get confirmation on your retirement date, you are "locked in" and should start wearing a series 200 lock on your belt !!

I read my post, laughed hard, and remembered that after my retirement ceremony, I was lost for 3 days !! A long time friend, then my subordinate, drove from FT Drum to Norman, OK, and did push ups in Class A's during the whole ceremony !! We got into civvies and I made it home 3 days later !!
