A few years ago I decided to try mountain biking. I had a buddy that was really into it and he became my mentor.
I really enjoyed it. Fresh air, physical challenge. All the good stuff.
But I just did NOT like the spandex shorts. I understood there would be major chaffing issues without them so I wore them.
But I had a problem and I took it to my mentor. I said "Billy, the shorts are bad enough, but worse than that the girls laugh at me when I wear'em. What should I do?" Billy said "GG, stick you a tater in your shorts and the girls will quit laughing". So I did it. When I saw him next time I rode he asked how it worked out. I said "It doesn't work at all the girls are still laughing at me" He said "GG, PUT THE TATER IN FRONT".
