Any info on S&W Mod. 916

I have a friend with a 20 ga. S&W model 916 pump. He wants to trade for an old bearcat .22 I have. You can't get parts for eather, should one of them break! Would you trade for the 20 ga?

If you are at your house and the S&W m916 is in a different house that is about as close as you should get to it.They start at about $175 at 100%.The Bearcat is $450/$500 at 100%,has collectors value and will go up. ,,,sam.

S&W shotguns were made by Howa... You can sell your Bearcat and buy a Single-Six and another shotgun... which you can easily aquire parts for.
Leave the oddball shotgun alone.

I never heard of Howa making a shotgun and the Blue Book says the S&W m916 was manufactured at Springfield,Mass.. I found it.I guess Howa did mfg them and S&W discontinued them in 1984.It must be one of those deals where they assembled them at S&W. ,,,sam.
