What is the differnce between a 22A and the 22S

I have been shoping for a .22auto and see the 22a and 22s and was wondering what the differnce is, thanks for any help

In a nut shell: 22A frame is made from aluminum, 22S frame is made from steel.

They don't make the 22S anymore although you can occasionally find one. They will be more expensive than a 22A from what I've seen.
