Is that Saiga the longer barrelled type? Not much sense putting a sniper styled buttstock on my 16" version. How is that scope mount? I need to check into that. It looks good.

Good call on the drilled vent holes on the handguard. Though it might not seem like much, I'll bet that does a very good job of keeping the barrel and gas tube from overheating.

yes, factory forearm, I put masking tape on it, then used a speed square and a pencil to mark where I wanted the holes, drilled with hand drill, and dressed with dremel and a stiff plastic scouring pad.
