Latest Smith

Here's my latest Smith - Model 617 with Hogue Cocobolo grips. Ordered the gun on August 11 - finally came at the end of October. But worth waiting for - shoots great.

I have a 617 with the Houge grips. I love her! You can shoot her all day for a few $$s. Mine like Winchester shells better it seems.

I shoot better double action than single though, due to my shooting of my 642 hammerless.

I have won several bets by outshooting people doing this too.

Beautiful. I own two (1990's) 617's, 4" and 6", both six-shots. Mine wear Pachmayr gripper grips that fit me well but aren't nearly as pretty as your Hogue wood grips.

My 617's shoot so well that I'm almost ready to retire my faithful ol' Model 17-2.

I have the 6" -10 shot model. Wish they'd make a speed loader for it. I'd get about 100 of them.

There is a speedloader available for the 10 round 617. Contact ds-10-speed@hotmail.com.
