even though the answer was given I'm sad to say, many in this state would fail the test.

30 cal. 165 grain Sierra hollow point, no boat tail. Fired from a rifle with a left hand twist of about 1 in 16 inches.

What I wanna know is how the camera knew what round it was when it imprinted the pics.

Talking

So....there's a lot of unanswered questions brought up by some sharp eyed gun users here. I wouldn't dare ask another question from this group.

However, I did chuckle when I read that a few of you took longer than others to see the "cheat sheet."

And, Thrillbilly...you get extra credit for knowing it was from my Remington 700 30.06 BDL with a "jeweled" slide. But, what make and power was the scope on top?

Ox

Well I was totally headed down the wrong track, because what he was pictureing was a "BULLET", not a cartridge (round).

I was trying to look at the inside of the jacket to identify the BULLET by maker. Since "rounds" are cartridges, and bullets are what hits the back stop. I was misslead, but if that is what he was asking I'd say it was most likely a Remington 180 gr , or a Speer 180 flat base BULLET.

Considering the termatnology I would say Remington factory ammo.
