Dug this round out of the dirt behind my target for a closer examination. Can you identify it?

Yup, I agree with the thumbnails--it's definitely a 30.06--unless Ox has put that on there to throw us off.

it appears to be a .30 Cal. round that was brought on the American market by Springfield in 1906.

BTW...I know from some of your posts what caliber ya prefer...So I was pretty certain it was a 30.06 from the beginning.
I will go one farther and say that 30.06 bullet was fired from a beautiful Rem700 with a jeweled bolt! LOL
