I know there are more than a few bacon lovers out there so I thought I would share this with you.

I do appreciate a good bacon, but I don't know how that could possibly be delicious!

Years ago when we were early in our marriage we bought bacon in a can from one of the Baltic countries as I recall. It was good stuff, packed in fat, and it was cheaper than the Oscar Mayer and other brands. Good flavor and pretty lean, as I recall. In those days it was probably full of something that would make you grow an extra elbow or something. Sure was good though.

What a rip off!

$16.00 + shipping for 9 oz. can!!!

Hells bells, that makes for some EXPENSIVE bacon.
Those little Vienna sausage cans are 5 oz., as are tuna fish cans.

Many of us ate salt/smoked cured Celebrity, & Dak, canned bacon for years.
Inexpensive, had a shelf life of something short of a lifetime!
We bought it, by the case.
You cooked it many different ways, always tasted great.
We fed our families, used them for camping/hunting etc.
And it was made from pork bellies, as good as it gets.

If you still want canned bacon.
These are also pre cooked.
Yoders is CHEAPER than the CMMG label.
Yoders is $10.00 can. (case sale), compared to CMMG @ $15.95 a can.
And made by the same company.

Just my thoughts.

I like mine browned until crisp, almost burnt but not quite, just to the point where it will crumble. Ahhhh.....now I gotta hit the diner on the way home.

Well dang i had ta come back and tell yall this...
There was a little girl that designed a plastic tray with three "T" post on it that cooks bacon to perfection in a microwave oven..Its called..."MakinBacon" i don't recall where we picked it up 10 years back but it works real good, i can almost cook a pound of the healthy stuff on it in 12 minutes. You can time it to be half cooked or crispy as a tree limb depending how your microwave works....Here it is..
Makin' Bacon Cooker
Cameron's Makin' Bacon cooker is a fast easy way to cook more bacon faster!* The bacon strips hang allowing for more bacon in a smaller area and allows for excess grease to drip freely into the drip pan.* Cleanup is easy.* Use the Makin Bacon cooker for a healthier way to cook your bacon.

Earl I usaually cook up a whole pkg. of bacon when I cook my own breakfast and eat either all of it or there's 3 or 4 strips left.

You have me beat by one egg, I only fry or scramble 3. I prefer bisquits over toast and eat 4 of those.
If I do have toast I toast 3 slices.

Shorty afterwards I feel gross from eating so much for breakfast LOL.

My prefered breakfast that I eat probable to often is Sausage, Bisquits and cream gravy with scrambled eggs and a side of grits, 2 glass's of milk and coffee.

I'm not even fat from eating like this...Well I do have a little roll around my tummy LOL...A.H
