MN in MN

I have an MN - Mosin Nanant M44 (with bayonet attached) and come back to MN - Minnesota every fall to hunt. Is the M44 legal with the bayonet still attached? I sent an email off to the DNR but no answer.... I think they got confused when I said hunting and have a question in the same sentence.

I'm up on the edge of the BWCA. The Trout Lake area north of Vermillion. I go on a 2 week canoe trip with a friend of mine every year. He is looking to get a Moose tag up there. This year we had a bear tag.

I shot the bear at about 50 yds.... the muzzle flash almost cauterized the wound... Actually I think that the loud roar of the M44 scared the bear to death... gave him a heart attack....

I'd be usin the bayonet to bleed the deer after I killed it. Besides, how ya gonna sneak up on a deer to stick it with a bayonet anyway?
