Picked up my new Slim today

Got a call from my dealer today telling me my new Slim had arrived. Like a kid with a new toy I ran right down and picked her up. Cleaned her up nice, oiled her down well and can't wait to break her in. I hope to get to the range this weekend but getting over pneumonia so I'm not sure I'll be ready this weekend. Fits perfect in my Uncle Mike's pocket holster so I've been carrying it around in my pocket all day and I don't notice much difference from my P3AT. Searching for a nice IWB Holster for it if anyone has a suggestion. Very sleek feel to it and nice easy controls. Semi light trigger pull dry firing it with a spent shell in it. I hope to have a range report soon.

Hope you feel better soon. Let us know about the gun. Guns and Ammo magazine did an article on the Slim and the Kel Tec 9mm, the single stack P-11. Can't remember the model number. I have the money, not sure which one to get.

I really am interested in how it performs for you. Curious how the trigger feels compared to say a Kel-tec. I know the Kel-tec is doa and the Slim is DA/SA. That alone interests me as I prefer it over standard DAO triggers.

I use a blackhawk #6 holster for mine and carry it outside on my rightside. gets kinda Hot down here in south Florida so I dont want anything on the Inside. Great little gun though, for it's size It's accurate as hell.

I got the Stainless model. It was $375 out the door counting tax and back ground check call in. If you decide to go the .380 rout I love my little Kel-Tec P3AT too.

Have you shot yours much? I haven't had a chance. I hope to this weekend but still getting over a flu. With any luck I'll get to the range over the weekend and break her in.

I went to the Lexington Bud's today and they had several of them on the wall.

Incidentally, Gary, I held the Springfield EMP .40 - the small frame 1911 style .40. Nicely made, feels good...bigger than I expected and the slide was a bear! Maybe it'd loosen up in time, but man...that was a beast.

I wish I'd looked at the Sig SP2022 .40 that's on their website front page while I was there, though.
