Last winter I read a book about that disaster. I can't remember the title of it though. Now what inquiring minds need to know is how that relates to Earl Easter?

jerry thanks for the story....
I was in bed as you posted this I have a new retirement schedule that i cant help getting off to bed at around 7:00 PM...My wife just got transferred a few weeks back and she gets up at 3:30 AM Eastern Standard Time....Sure is odd walking the dog on his leash at that time so at 7 or 8PM I just have had enough of the day....LOL...Any way great story....

Joe brainard
I had written a story about my neighbor who works for Rosebud Coal Mines a while back
and he was called in to work to deliver another miner. This is a machine that undermines coal that is not much higher than 3 feet...One was destroyed and burried in a mine in Ohio and we went to extreme measurements to cart the new rebuilt one,a four hour one way trip..He needed help so he had called his never say NO buddy....Me

Anyhow the mere dress of the tuff guy miners and attitude was impressing to me as we drove up in the large flatbed truck.... They all cheered and patted us on the back for our efforts.
Each one with coal blackened faces and smiles that will never be forgotten....

We use electricity without thinking much on how it got to our light switches and appliances as i will speak for myself, But the fellas really gave us a welcome for something that I figured was a small task on our part......Earl

Thanks Earl,
Feel the same bud.

Funny story on that "j" When I registered back in 02 I goofed on the key board. Never bothered to ask to get it fixed, not sure if it even can be.

Glad you enjoyed the story. Thanks for what you do.

Best,

Jerry
