I used medium height Zee Rings on a 44mm Mueller on my 93R17 and it clears just fine.

That scope has a 1 inch tube. I have one on my wifes 22.

Well...they're ON there! Not sure if I have `em on there correctly or not, but they seem to fit well enough.

They're actually a bit 'snug', with a tiny small gap on one side, but I didn't think they were going to fit at all, at first.

I'll try to get photos up here in a few minutes, and someone else will need to be the judge.

Then, I'll need to know if I have it set to far forward or aft.

Then, I'll have to go back to my childhood memories and learn how to zero the thing?

Thanks again to all (especially - obviously - to R5CYA!)...please bear with me on the photos - I'm a bit slow.

Ok, I'll try to post the 4 or 5 pics that I took, below. See what I mean by the gap? I was afraid I might crush the aluminum tube if I torqued-down too-tight??

And I suppose it needs to rest (sit positioned) more forward (towards the muzzle-end) ... more centered across the action/barrel - correct?

Man thank you so very much! I believe 'they are just about perfect'.

I'm going to enjoy getting it sighted-in (which may be a "project" for me - though one I'll enjoy).

In any event, it's already a pleasure (a Pure one) to shoot.

We make Maple Syrup (also Pure) here in February/March each year, and I've got your address. You've got a bottle coming your way as soon as the trees start running.

Thank you again very much.
Glenn

There should be a gap between the rings, I suggest you lap them and get yourself a torque driver and tighten the rings down to 20 inch/lbs. and the mounts to 60 inch/lbs.
