congradulations, thats nothing mine took 90 days, but Arizona is swamped with apps and they average 75 days

Congrats. Mine for PA took 45 days, but not much in the way of hassle at all.

Congrats! Glad to have you.
(mine took 16 weeks 30 years ago and I had to complete a 23 page background, and go through a stinkin' boot camp State Patrol academy LOL)

Their pace has been picking up. A lot of people have been reporting getting theirs in days and weeks. It took me about 2 weeks to get mine.

glad to hear you got it ! Mine took about five and a half months !Sheriffs office forgot to fill some info out and had to resubmit !!

lol the form for the florida CCW says up to 90 days ( that is about what mine was ) but on average im hearing from people around here approximately 4-5 months .
on the news channel 2 months ago they happened to mention that this yea was a record year for number of applicants in florida

That 239's a nice pistol. I'm partial to the 1911 compact I carry off duty. You have a LOT to choose from if you're going buy something new. I just suggest you stay at 9mm or above. If you come up with a specific make and model the folks here can bury you with pros and cons (in a good way :-)

I was told to expect a waiting period of 90+ days in TX, got it in a little under 60.

i was lookin at a 325 ng because its in .45 but their very proud of it
