Old ammunition crates are quite collectible. They make a nice addition to cartridge collections.Like original ammo boxes, the better the condition the more they are worth.I started out to just acquire a few old shells as accessory items for collectible firearms I owned. Then it was full boxes of shells of the period, then a few old powder cans, hey how about an ammo crate or two, maybe some original reloading tools and a mold. Then I found the International Ammunition Association,Reloading Tool Collectors Assoc. Now I have "stuff"in showcases, stuck in drawers,in the closet, boxes stuck everywhere.I have been infected for many years, there is no cure.Neither is there an end to what you can find.I must go,a friend said he found a few old shells when cleaning out a house he bought, treasures await.
