View Poll Results: AR15 carbine vs. NEW Mini 14
New, heavy barrel (accurate), loaded Mini-14 5 16.13%
America's rifle, AR15 carbine, with all its quirks 19 61.29%
I would rather double the cost and weight of ammunition and carry a .30 caliber. 7 22.58%

Yes in high round count training classes etc. Not the entire life of the gun.

I have read an article about the Magpul magazines. They state that they are the best AR mags around. Torture tested most of what is available and even drove a truck over them. Only the Magpul survived. Just for your information

Product: Model M&P15FT Rifle

I picked up the SW M&P-15 yesterday. What finally decided it for me was that the heavy barrel accuracy fix for the Mini was, well, heavy. All the weight was over the support hand which made it difficult to handle after awhile. That and the fact that the A4's are actually being used as machine guns in actual wars.

Thnks for all the help. I appreciate it.

LOL. I dunno. If it can't stand up to being run over by a truck at high speed over and over again, what good is it?
