My grandson scored his first touchdown for the year in flag football. He is 6 years old and is a fast little dude. I am sick tonight and did not get to see him score. However I am very proud of him. My 5 year old plays on the same team and is a blocker.

very cool. I'm sure you'll be there to see his next touchdown. I was always really proud when my Grandad came to see me doing stuff when I was a kid.

My dad was gone a lot when I was a kid and didn't get to see me do much. I made a promise to myself that if I possibly could I would be there for my kids and grandkids. It is important to them and me as well.

Congrats to you and the future all-star. Pls tell him we are proud of him. Sometimes we don't realize how important it is to our kids/grandkids that we be there to watch them perform and to cheer them on.
