HOT Sauce

Everybody likes some kind of hot sauce dont they?
I know I love a wide variety of the chili juice.
So what is your favorite hot sauce and why.

At tne MN state fair you can get alligator on a stick.
They have a hot sauce with it called Franks Red Hot Sauce. It is so good with alligator that its incredible. It is kind of sweet compared to most other hot sauces. Thats why I like it so much.
I gotta admit I want to try some other hot sauces and thats why Im asking opinions.

So whats your favorite fire juice and why?

I grew some habanero peppers this year and all I can take is a very small amount in some Chili. They really put a Wang to the Chili.

We have a store here that has the most hot sauce varieties that I have ever seen. They have some you have to sign a release to buy. They had samples on a table from mild to hot to extremely hot to insanely hot. I put a drop (about the size of pencil eraser) of the extremely hot on a small cracker. My 11 yr. old daughter was with me and when I took a bite I thought I was going to die. My daughter asked me if I was alright. She said I turned really red in the face. I bought a diet coke and drank it down and it didn't help at all. I had to buy two pints of milk and went out to my car and drank them both. It took about 20 minutes before I returned to normal. I don't know how anyone could eat and enjoy anything that hot. If the insanely hot is even hotter I would have had Air-Care come in after me.

I like any of the Creole/south Louisiana hot sauces and spices. My wife makes a terrific one out of jabanero peppers. Too hot except for a pinch.

I love tabasco, the original and the chipotle versions. the chipotle one is great with mac and cheese. I really like the Franks hot wing sauce too. theres a place at the farmers market in la that has , must be over a 1000. like White Rook said, one drop of some of them would land you in intensive care.

Tabasco and Louisiana hot sauce. The best idea the govt had was to include those tiny bottles of Tabasco in the MRE's. Or as we called them "flavor in a bottle".

Frank's is the best on eggs or a taylor ham (pork roll) egg and cheese sandwhich. Chulula hot sauce is really good also, it has a wooden top with a picture of a mexican guy on it. Last christmas my wife bought me Dave's Insanity Sauce Private Reserve. She had to sign a waiver to buy it. I told her she was crazy for getting it. First of all its too hot to taste anything, I mean painfully hot like white said up above. Second the little bit of flavor you get, before it blows out your taste buds, isnt so good. I dont know how much she paid for it but it is now a bottle in the fridge for special company to try.

Just googled this up and was rather surprised. This peper is twice as hot as the red Savina hobenero. (which is much hotter than a regular hobenero)

Makes you wonder what a drop of this might do, huh White Rook ????
I like hot food, but not so hot that you must stop or pause while eating it, except horseradish. The pause is a part of it. ha. "Sht, I aint breathin"

Taco Bell Mild, Hot, and Fire Sauces' are good. Frank's Red Hot is the best bottled hot sauce, it has just enough heat, and it tastes great(I don't just look for hot stuff to eat for the sake of eating hot stuff). Tiger Sauce is also very tasty. Red pepper jelly(cayene mostly I belive) is really good tasting but can also be very hot.

Guys if you have been eating spicy food in the south of the border styles, you NEED to try Thai food, it's like the best food on the planet. It's so good it's like Asian comfort food that makes your nose run, and eyes water. Serious when I'm eating Pad Ki Mao(Drunk Driver, or Drunk Noodles) it's just like eating fried chicken, buiscuts, mashed potatos, and gravy, with pecan pie except it's Asian food, that is also very spicy. I could go on and on about how good Thai food is.
