Giggidy, giggidy, gig-gi-dy! My A1 upper is here ! Finally ... my A1 upper receiver is here, time to put it together to build may CAR-15. When I get it done, there will be pics posted !
... now, I can finish the 'precision' upper as well. (of course, I'll need to make sure the nut behind the stock is tight too for best results)

Congrats, Larry!!! That is a nice looking rifle!
Skillet and indoor shoot is about our only option. Deer season starts and McMiller is closed on Fridays. If you have another option please let me know!!! I got a carbine that needs warming up!

... if we need to get out and shot puddles again, we can do that, it was fun! Speaking of, Jeremy (Ninja Piper) is looking to get an M44 ... so if you know anyone moving one, he's interested.
... I want to shoot mine too ... and I KNOW that they will not allow that indoors !
... gotta shoot my 2 AR's ... need to make sure the builds are 'right' ...
... any certain time and location you want to meet ? I assume we'll go to Fletchers ?
Larry

Isn't there an indoor range up near Deerfield? It may be a bit of a drive for TX, but its another option...
I'm 95% sure that Fletchers is pistol only.

On the other front, yes, I am looking for an M44... am working out funding options now, hopefully by the New Years I'll have enough.

... any location that affords .30 Carbine for Tex ... and .40 pistols for us works. I was trying to limit driving ... and forgot all about Deerfield. Larry O

Fletcher's in Waukesha allows rifles in .22 or center fire pistol ammo. Nothing .223 or up. Range fees are a dollar cheaper than Deerfield too. You guys can pick, I'm happy to shoot anywhere!

... we'll have to 'play' at McMiller after the hunting season. We have rifles that miss their ammo.
... by then, my rifle AR should be completed as well ... and I really want you to shoot the M44 !
