I had an old one similar to that..Damascus barrels and Ithaca at the time said mine was the "Crass" model. Value was low like $50. The Damascus barrels make it unsafe to shoot with modern shells. Was quite common back in the day. I sold it real cheap to someone who was going to put it over a fireplace.

Ithaca

I have an 1898 Ithaca Crass hammer less side by side 12 GA shotgun with a smokeless powder steel barrel that is 30 inches long. It has an engraving of a dog on point on both sides of the action. There are no other engravings. I am wondering if anyone knows where I can go online to learn its value and grade.

Thanks,
Bill H.

I had wrote to Ithaca way back. They are not work a whole lot. Wonder why your barrel is smokeless while mine of a later date was Damascus. Like I said, I got $50 for mine.
