$20 for the lisense $20 for a box of ammo then i have 100 + pounds of meat in the freezer. $40 wont buy 40 pounds of steak or burger from any store and venison is leaner than beef. oh well no one's going to tell me that i can't hunt anymore.

He's not showing any comments from hunters, so why make the effort? He's a tree huggiing nutbag, and doesn't have a clue. He also will not try to understand any other view than his own, so I will refrain from giving him my email address, so he can harass me in the future. He prob'ly thinks tofu is the "in" thing to shove down one's throat.

Those anti hunting fellas really get on my tits. why go to the butchers and pay shitloads for meat to feed the family that has been fed on grains and other supplements when you can go into the forest and shoot an animal that is fed by mother nature and is far more tastier. That article almost carried on like a ban the death penalty article. Damn vegetarians they think man can live on tofu alone who do they think they are running around shooting their mouths off saying to eat something that has been stressed out before getting zapped in the stunner box, throat cut then run over electrified bars to tenderize the meat before shipping overseas while all the crap quality is sent to the local market |

Remember, vegans - SOYLENT GREEN IS PEOPLE!
We have a nutbag like that running on an environmental platform for one of our house of representatives seats in the Federal Parliament. He's supposedly a professor of something, i.e. very well educated, but check it out: So I think where we’re going is to begin to see a Gaian earth in its ecological, cybernetic way, infused with some notion of mind or soul or chi, which will transform our attitudes to it away from an instrumentalist one, towards an attitude of greater reverence. Our nutcase sounds like your nutcase on a different mission, doesn't he? Insanity is NOT confined to one side of the Pacific! Whether this reassures you or scares you more is up to you!
As for me, I'm cooking rabbit for dinner tonight (the same rabbit I shot yesterday) while watching all the most tear-jerking scenes of Watership Down and listening to Bright Eyes. And I will pause and think of PETA with every bite. And then gobble it down with great enjoyment.
(PS: Link is to a critic of our nutcase, so clicking and reading is mindsafe.)

What the vegetarian/anti-hunters don't get is that the farmers who work there ass's off day in and day out to feed there mouths with all the crops and the rest of the sane world with meet can not do what we do only with veggies in our systems for fuel. And all the shit they are eating is just going to waste cause they just sit on there asses all day writing articles like that.

Deer carcasses everywhere. There are some whistles people put on their bumpers that are supposed to scare deer off, don't know if they work or not. When in doubt no frantic braking or course corrections, run the sucker over. Or aim for the rear end. (deer seldom go back'ards :-)

Try not to be too offended, these people are doing a good thing. They are exercising their freedom of speech, even if they are wrong. They are staying out of our hunting zones and sporting goods stores, and most importantly they provide a check and balance for hunters. I follow DFG regulation, but I know lots of guys who would hunt and fish our resources to extinction without regulation and fear of tickets. I live in southern california which was the premier swordfish grounds until our entire area was over fished, now the only thing caught regularly is small rock fish (delicious). My parents where tree hugging hippie vegetarians, I was not allowed to eat meat, or play with toy guns, and I laughingly admit I was once grounded for cutting the branch off of a tree. I now have a budding gun collection, several thousand rounds of ammo, am an avid fisherman, and novice hunter, there's not much I enjoy more than taking my son bunny blastin or target shooting. My point is these people are mostly harmless with the exception of a few on the far far left, but the same could be said of us. I regret that it took me so long to get interested in hunting and fishing. I wish my parents had not demonized hunting and hunters, I will not demonize vegetarians or tofurkey to my kids. to each their own.

| My daughter
My daughter just took the game and fish hunters ed class online and she told me that it said that because of the pittman robertson act hunters and fisherman are the number 1 providers of funds for wildlife. Things like habitat managment and fish stocking programs . The taxes from licenses , gun and ammo sales etc. provide mega dollars . The next time ask them how many dollars they put toward wildlife as we sportsman are the ones that are paying our way.
