Don't seem to be having any shortages this side of the Pond yet.

I don't believe there is a conspiracy. I do agree that people are hoarding the primers and other components. It is generated by fear that the Dems are gonna do something to make it hard to get supplies. I help out at a local gunshop and it is a fact that some powders and primers are hard to get right now.

I've been seeing a steady increase in volumes of ammo that are now remaining on the store shelves (except 380 and 38 special). some ammo is already coming down in price. after the hunting seasons are over for the winter I look for a lot of manufacturers to get caught up on their loaded ammo backorders. once that occurs then components will become more readily available, probably by spring. how long it takes for the reloading market prices on components to begin to fall will depend on the demand. to move surpluses, eventually the prices will have to drop once the products start sitting on dealer shelves too long.

Apparently they have plenty at Scheels.

My wife had a Dr.'s appointment on Wednesday so we ran into town. I got a call from a buddy at Sears saying he had some wheelweights for me. While I was in the mall I checked the primer situation at Scheels. This is what I saw:

Prices were $30/1000 for SP, SPM, SR, SRM, and LR. Match and shotshell were $35. Still no Large Rifle Magnums or Large pistol magnums yet, but still a good sign.
Post number 49.
So How Much LONGER do I have to Wait for Primers? - Page 3 - Cast Boolits

Where is Scheels?

You mean people in your area sell reloading gear at estate sales? In 20 years I've only seen reloading gear at an estate sale once, and Her Imperial Majesty wouldn't let me buy it even though it was priced ridiculously low.

Great song, and very fitting for the current times.......

No Sheels down here, but there is one shop I need to check - they have a bad reputation for being an uppity shop catering to the Izod set though, and having ridiculous prices.
