Mil Spec Stripped Lowers for $55

RGUNS - RGUNS AR-15 Lower Receivers - 5.56mm: Stripped

I'm not a fan of RGUNS, mostly because the guy that runs it happens to be a jerk , but if you're looking for a decent price for a future build, it might not hurt to stock up on a couple..

Yes he is.. I've only been to the "store" (been in cleaner pet shops) once and I asked about a couple rifles. He said they weren't in stock, but watch the website. I asked if he'd put my C and R license on file for future purchases??

"Why sure!!" he said, as he took my signed copy and threw it on the floor.. "That's where I file them!!" with an absolute smart ass attitude..

I didn't find it funny.. He sensed this and picked it up and tossed it on some shelf, which I'm sure was thrown away..

I've dealt with people like him before.. Basically, a blowhard, loudmouth, show off.. I'm not interested in being around people like this, which is why I mentioned that I'm not a fan.. As much as I would like a couple cheap lowers in my gun safe, I can't force myself to buy from RGUNS.. But, I'm not above telling others about a good deal on something.. If they want to deal with him, that's not my business. I'm just trying to get someone a deal on a lower.

We have a shop like that around here. I've been in there only once, it was when I bought my stripped lower. I saw from their website they had them in stock (several months ago, when they were going for upwards of $200...if you could find them), and called to let them know I would be in on my lunch break as they were just a few blocks from where I work.

The lady on the phone told me the whole process would take me 10 minutes if my BATFE check came back clear, but upon getting there it was a whole different story.

I had my pair of hundred dollar bills and my ID on the counter, and the clock-watching prick kids who worked there kept BSing around with random people like it was a damned barber shop. The entire ordeal took more than 45 minutes. Needless to say, I was hungry when I got home that afternoon.

I asked around, and I can't see how that guy stays in business...because everyone I know who has shopped there tells me they'll never let their shadow fall on that door again.

Wow, that is effin' UNBELIEVABLE!

I'll certainly never do business with that company. It's a wonder they stay in business.

Thanks for the post, I called my dealer and we both bought a couple for future builds. Never hurts to have a few extra.

Just got my lowers in. They look very good, finish is nice, no machine marks or burrs, and they came in a fitted plastic case for storage. I haven't put any lower parts in them yet but I see no problem with them. Great buy for $55.00. Now is the time to buy extra, and sell when another craze hits like this time last year. Thanks for the heads up on them Paper.

Glad I could help. I just got my machined stripped lowers this week, too.. At least they're cheap and don't take up much room in the gun safe..
