I don't cut up deer, but the 440/880lb. electric hoists from Harbor Freight are the shizz! I have two in my garage for lifting all kinds of things that I don't want to strain my Wheaties over. One for engines and auto work, the other's for hoisting stuff up into the storage loft. I have a large amount of a Jeep up there. Can usually catch 'em on sale for ~$100.

Thats a flash looking workshop you've got there Jerry.
I do love the type of bow you guy's have on run about boats, over here there a much more pointed style thing. What length is that?

Thanks man. That is my work shop. I used the jib hoist to get the boat off the trailer. We have a spray booth where I painted the trailer. It's a Sea Ark 16' "Jon" boat. The bow is what they call a coast guard bow, or semi/modified V. http://www.seaarkboats.com/boat.php?...rd&boat=1648MV |

If you guys think thats cheating you should see our set up In our small shop we have two electric hoist on an I Beam so we can back the truck right in, hook the deer to the cable and press a button and there she goes. Then we can roll the hole thing over to drain and skin it and then role her right over to the walk in freezer until we get enough time to butcher it. we have come along ways in just a few short years.
