Broke in the Slim today

Just got back from the range and I am impressed. Shot 250 rounds. Very easy to handle. Very accurate and little recoil for such a small, light gun. I shot WWB, hand loads and one box of Golden Sabers. I did have one fail to eject, That was a WWB but was also the second magazine fired. All in all I give it an "A". I'd suggest one for anyone looking for a small, lightweight 9MM.

I'll try to take one now. It still needs to be cleaned after today but I have a feeling everyone here has seen a dirty pistol before. We're all adults, we can share dirty pistol photos.

Ask and you shall receive. Please excuse the fact that it hasn't been cleaned yet. Been going since 5:00 AM. Going to clean tomorrow.

Glad it worked out well for you, I enjoy the Hell out of mine too. Got about 400 rounds through it, mine is the blued version.

I paid $400 for mine OTD in Ohio (includes tax).

Even though it costs $200 more, I like my Walther PPS better.

I looked at both abs gave both a lot of thought. Just spent way too much money on guns this past year and I have always been happy with Taurus so I took the cheaper way out. I like the Slim a lot so far.

But clearly you need a PPS, too.

Glad to hear the range report. Even though I have a PPS, I'd still like to try a Slim out. I think that'll be on the back burner, though, because I "accidentally" just bought a SIG SP2022 .40S&W from Bud's. It'll be ready for pickup later this week.

I'm going to try to find a range that rents near me and try a 709 out. Or maybe I should just come to Florida and go to the range with you. It's about to get cold here.

How do you carry yours? I'm looking for a good IWB for mine but can't seem to find the right one.

Have you by chance also shot the Tel-Kec PF9? If so, how did it compare to the 709 Slim? I have the Kel-Tec & it's uncomfortable to shoot. The 709 seems to be slightly larger & maybe more comfortable.
