Question Magazines for Ruger 10-22

I have a Ruger 10-22 carbine and am trying to find a good after market 25 round clip for it that is reliable and doesn't have feeding problems. Someone suggested a Butler Creek 25 rnd. clip but I have read bad reviews about them. Another piece of advice I got is to get the one from them with the metal lip at the feed hole. Anyone have any luck with those or can suggest something else?

Any one that has the steel feeding "lips" will be good, I like the Mitchell 50rd mags, pricey @ $80. I even have a Eaton 50 rd drum that good but it has more weight and harder to reload and kind of bulky.
I have the eagles and butler mags as well, they are easy to reload, they just wear out faster...plastic at the feeding lips.

Definitely look for the "steel lips" ones...

...for durability and predictable functioning.

Also try different ammo, you will find that all is not created equal, find what brand works for you and stay with it, HTH.

does ram-line still make mags for .22? i got some thirty and fifty rounders way back in the eighties. they loader i got with them could load them faster than i could unload them with the ruger and lasted thousands and thousands of rounds. they're still in the gun cabinet waiting for me to go plinking again.

I and my family have used butler creek 25 rd steel lips and shot thousands of rnds through the butler creek mags and to date no failures but on the orginal factory had some ftf and was able to disassemble and clean(getting the spring wound was a trick) but to answer the ? yes good results with those mags and that 7.99 is a great price.
