I Was Geezing Again

Ordered 500 62 grain .224 FMJ projectiles. 2 days later I forgot I ordered it and bid on 250 55 grain FMJ .224" Won the bid. Came home, now I have .224" a plenty.

The mind is the first thing to go!

Also thought I was out of small rifle primers. Found three boxes of 100 I stashed in the wrong place.

I'm sure none of that stuff will sit without being used for too long.

Small Memo Books are handy, all my buys and phone numbers addresses and what I bought from who goes in there along with cost for bullets, powder, brass. When payment was shipped and when recieved. The wife asked me what the book was for and I told her to leave the book alone it was my brains,56 and CRS is already setting in.But I have kept records for years anyway just to see how much prices have soared and who got the best deals.

Whipped out 100 rounds last night. Probably have a little more than 100 empty cases left.

It happens to all of us. I was loading some .44 mags last night. I had finished up with the 200 grain Noslers over 27.5 grains of H110 and was loading some 240 grain Hornady XTPs over 24 grains of the same powder. I was focused on how the slight difference in profile affects the COAL and was messing with the seater/crimp adjustments on the die. It wasn't until I got 10 of them loaded that I noticed I had the wrong box of XTPs and was loading 200 grainers. I switched and finished with the 240s.

At least I can see how a light load works with the 200 grain XTPs now. If I had gone the other way, I would have to pull them. I am not inclined to run loads that are almost 15% over the maximum through any gun of mine, although the Redhawk probably would have handled it.

Not everyone is as organized as my buddy Glenn. Under Construction, FINAL PHASE

Believe it or not he has added more labeled storage bins and shelves since those pics were taken.

I think he might have OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder), but he probably doesn't make too many errors when reloading.

Finished up all my empty cases, but have a deal from ammobrasstrader for about 300 more.

Trading him 80 .311" 147 gr FMJBT's for them.

Gawd I love that site.

I forgot too, but it had something to do with blue pills fixing it.

Like I've said before, losing those arguments is what made me stop talking to myself. Can't stand that guy!
