Anyone fitted the RCBS autoprime to the standard Rock Chucker?

I have been looking at ways to speed up the old Rock Chucker and noticed RCBS sells an auto prime attachment for the Rock Chucker Supreme. How different are the two presses? and does anyone know if the auto prime attachment can be fitted to the regular Rock Chucker press. If it would take alittle machine work that is ok too.

thanks tim

I prefer hand priming unless doing progressive.

This isn't your question but Lee's Auto-Prime II works on any press. It's not absolutly perfect (what is?) but it's quite good and, with a bit of adustment, it can be made to seat primers (almost exactly) consitant where you want them, from flush to 4 thou deeper.

I liked the A-P II system so well I bought a little Lee "Reloader" press to use it on so my seating adjustments can remain unchanged. It sits about 6" to the left of my first "Reloader" press which is fitted with a Universal Decapper Die. Together, they make a primer handling system that I love!
