I tell that to my guys all the time when they get a little too whiny about it. You voted in the poll right?

Then I bought the Kimber TLE II. Keep yer head down. | Man, that TLE II is soooooooo nice! I love how kimbers sound when they shoot, don't you? WOOOOOO! I miss hearing that sound. It's just a nice loud "PKOOW"! What did you end up paying for it, if you don't mind me asking? I googled it & on the very 1st page there's 3 pics that caught my eye. http://guns.wicked96ss.com/kimber_ec...se_3-3_jpg.jpg http://i41.tinypic.com/wjz40l.jpg http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...O4yylAfK6f2yDA
This last 1...THE GUY HAS 21 1911s !!!!!!!!!! Some people might say that variety is the spice of life & this guy has none since all his guns are 1911s. The arguement could be made however that he DOES like variety......A VARIETY OF 1911s lol!

If I remember correctly, I shot you a message asking you about a post you made on the witness. Any thoughts on that, since it's more in my price range? I remember liking a CZ SP-01 & a 75 I think. The SP was nice & light but I don't remember why I ruled it out....oh yeah, 'cuz I liked the 75 better from what I could gather on the net. Also, a side-by-side wouldn't meet what I'd like as far as capacity goes. Too much BOOM, not enough boom boom boom boom you get the picture. Thanks for your time.

DogRomeo, Welcome to the site, thanks for your service and always check your six.
Just my opinion. For shotguns, I would go with an 870 Remington. There is so many options for that gun, it is amazing. I've been to the 870 armorer's school and worked on them for years, cheaper than some other pumps. You can't go wrong with a Mossberg pump either. Both are good guns. I would stay with a pump. With a little practice, you can work a pump almost as fast as a semi auto. It will be more reliable also. Check out Brownells website for Remington products, Tapco as well.
I love Glocks. I think that they are durable and one of the best out there. In my opinion, the SA XD ranks right up there with them. Tough, durable and can take a beating. It will take more and last longer than a 1911. Did John Moses Browning just turn in his grave?
I would go with a 9mm or a .40. Just my opinion. In home defense situations, at close ranges, shot placement will be the key. Glock or Springfield, both are good. It is your money, buy what you want, choose wisely.

GREAT POST!!! Thanks for all that info! The part about Browning actually put a smile on my face! Yet more great feedback for me.
