Browning Buckmark Camper?

So, I picked up a used Browning Buckmark Camper .22 auto pistol last night. Got it for $200. Anybody know anything about these? They any good? No tellin' when I'll get a chance to try it out, and I haven't taken any photos yet, just have this one from the seller.

I've been wanting a .22 auto for years, and I figured what the hell....it's $200. Sure was several other guys piped up after I said I'd take it, had plenty of interest. They seem to be priced much higher on Gunbroker, but I know nothing about them.

You got a buy the Brownings are all good 22's. I was out shooting mine 2 days ago and am still smiling from how well the gun shot.

Ron, you did good for only 200, I paid about 325 for mine. They feel good in the hand and are very accurate. Great for plinking, target, or trails west of the I-25. B square makes a rail for the Buckmark, but runs about $30 just in case you decide to scope it.

Now you just need a class III stamp and a suppressor

nice gun and a good deal. Wish I would have found that deal....I have wanted a buckmark like that for a while now. Other purchases have taken priority but a deal like that would be one I couldn't refuse.

I love mine. Shot it last night in fact. If I found yours for $200 I would have two Buckmarks!

It seems like a good'un, but I'd like to smack the fool that designed the cocking serrations. It's not very friendly to cock.

I mean, who thought this was a good idea? What's wrong with flat sides on the slide and normal serrations across the slide flats?

Good gun, watch for small screws coming loose. My rear sight came loose, a very little dab of Loc-Tite fixed it.

Brand new Browning Buck Mark Campers at Academy Sports for $279.

I'd still rather buy the $200 used one and have $80 for ammunition though.

Oh yeah, don't over tighten that rear sight screw or you can crack the plastic sight mount. Don't ask me how I know. No really, don't ask. Okay, okay, I broke mine. There are you happy?

LOL! this one's already broken! Probably the reason for the price. I've gotta get a new one.

Mine has probably been broke for close to 5000 rounds. I have never gotten around to ordering another one. At this rate I probably won't either. Since my eyes are starting to go I will probably just get a rail for it and mount some optics instead.

Yeah, the guy I bought it from said that didn't affect the way it shot at all, that's why he hadn't replaced it.

No, I haven't. Been too wintery here to go to the range, it's an all-day excursion. I did have the lil' feller out last night, checking it over. Can't wait to give it a try. I may have to break down and pay for a trip to the local indoor range.
