Not as big as I thought...

OK guys, here's a pic of the deer I apparently stung or spooked Sat. before las.t I've got several other pics over this last weekend. When I get back out to my camera, I'll post the other pics. I've decided to let him gain a bit more girth if noone else takes him this year. He's got a nice, thick body and will have a rack to match in a year or two.

I wish we owned enough land to manage my deer pop. but if i were to let a deer like that go by one of the neighbors or my dad would just end up shooting it... If i did have enough land to manage i would let that one grow because in the pic the neck size looks rather small. and the thickness of the antlers are nothing impressive to me. But that buck appears to have great potential
