Politics as usual. I hear we still got troops in Iraq looking for weapons of mass destruction that don't exist. It must be some kind of Government hide and seek. Or doublespeak. Who'd a thunk our Government of lying to us constituents?

Those WMD's were found long ago, broken up and in various junkyards around Sandland. The MSM idiots are still wanting to see operational weapons on trailers ready to fire.

The money..... lots of luck finding it - it's probably in several off-shore accounts by now. The high Politicos have some good 'laundrys' to make it disappear - the Mafia has nothing on them!

There was an op-ed piece in the New York Post that said in effect that if Obama want to do something that will create jobs and stimulate the economy, he needs to drop the health care issue. The taxes needed to attempt to support the unsupportable cost of his halfwitted plan will put many small companies out of business and cause larger ones to lay off personnel and freeze hiring in order to keep coverage for the survivors.

There's no doubt in my mind that the Empty Suit from Illinois is the wrong politician in the wrong place in the wrong job at the wrong time. Her Imperial Majesty accuses me of being a closet racist because I rail against what the Obamination is doing to our country. I'm not a racist; I just think the man is an ineffectual, indecisive, ass-kissing idiot who's wrecking the country and letting our economy go down the toilet. I'll rail against anyone who does that.

This makes perfect sense -- most of the money "saved or created" JOBS that don't actually exist. The doctored numbers on recovery.gov have simply been made up (as has most of the slogans and propaganda that's come out of this regime). It then seems perfectly logical the money went to fictional places as well.

So we thus have money sent to places that don't exist creating jobs that don't exist -- see ? Perfect sense !

... sadly, nobody trusts the politicians to do any kind of investigation into something they had any part of. A congressional approval rating of 26.6% is something that Pelocchio needs to be embarrassed about. When 66.6% (death number for Congress?) of the people in this country disapprove, they are OBVIOUSLY NOT LISTENING.

... Recovery.gov is nothing more than a propaganda tool, I completely agree TXplt... the Obama administration thought we were too stupid to catch them at their game and now have egg on their face. They attacked others for cooking their books ... and rightfully so, then turn and do the same. Hypocrites. Their silver bullet (stimulus) didn't work ... and now they are trying to cover it up with rosy B.S. ... we're not buying it.

... FOR EXAMPLE:

The government claims the official unemployment rate is 10.4%. They always fudge the number by 2 points so the number should be 12.4% plus another 6% for people who stopped looking and get no more unemployment insurance. In addition, there are always about 5% of the people changing jobs. Therefore, the real rate is about 23.4% plus people who won't work of about 5%. You do the math--almost 30%. Never believe the administration who is in power when it comes to these type numbers. (Both Republicans and Democrats do this)

Source(s):
M.A. Economics 1968

... they need to understand ... the American people ARE going to fire them not only for their acts of hypocrisy, but also for lying, cheating (Rangel), deception, etc. because we ARE watching them closer than ever before.

+1

I think hussein couldn't do more to destroy the economy if he were deliberately trying. If you look at it from this perspective (hussein is actively trying to destroy our economy) his actions fit this model.

1. We've taken on HUGE debt which will destroy any real liquid dollar savings and the dollar. This has gone God knows where. The dollar destruction DOES have some tin foil hat qualities in that big ben seems to be furthering the policy along with the regime such that it is almost intentional to get the world away from the dollar by destroying it (by printing more money, taking on more debt, and keeping interest rates low so's our savings accounts can't possibly keep up). Or they could simply be spending our savings account money FOR us and not really intending to destroy the dollar. Doesn't matter--it will have the same effect. The REALLY farcical thing is that we are (by low/zero interest rates) effectively PAYING people to destroy our dollar FOR us.

2. We're hiking the capital gains taxes (as well as other taxes on small business and income). Why put $$$ at risk here in America just to have it taxed ? As revenue drops we've made it clear we're going for the "dog chasing its tail" of hiking taxes on anything that actually produces something and makes money. Our tax policy is asinine (unless you don't really PAY them like many of the regimes' henchmen) and hurts us all.

3 We've abridged or negated contract law. Again, why invest when the gov't can come in and arbitrarily negate who gets paid what in the event of either success OR failure ? The terms of your investment can be changed on a whim of der "leader."

4. Cap and Scam -- this will dramatically hike energy costs to major industrial producers in the U.S. -- effectively doubling them-- (again, without ANY effect on the environment) encouraging these manufacturers to go overseas. We thus lock up the industrial resources OUR country is blessed with--the one thing which could get us out of this mess (along with the huge job losses) -- to fuel an imaginary program which seeks to make certain people rich in the carbon trade (by establishing a pseudo currency and trade which seeks to make something out of nothing -- carbon credits) and tell us how to live our lives by yet another tax to boot. China's and India are going to love any treaty--not only won't they have to play but they can make money off the suckers who actually do.

5. Health care tax and scam -- ALL of the bills throw a grenade into what actually works in our health care system. Insurance companies hire people too BTW. ALL of the bills make small (and big) business pay HUGE costs to the government while (as a "bonus") hiking costs of what insurance might still be available (again, while telling us all what to do and intruding into our lives to boot). ANY of the bills do nothing more than destroy what works and throw huge regulatory burdens out to all business -- while spending THREE TRILLION dollars more. Guess who pays this ? Old folks get medicare cuts, the states who might have any money left get unfunded mandates, and corporations (and individuals) get a HUGE middle class tax hike (which will be partially hidden by some clever wording). This will result in less small businesses (and many of the ones existing folding) as well as increased cost structures to big businesses (who will pass the costs along, see a decrease in demand, and shed jobs and go overseas where they can).

Like the guy in "Thank You For Smoking" said "I really don't see how you could have f.... up more." Hussein's regime has been a complete train wreck -- although we do get the obamacheerleader media which is bizzare.

Oh, and we all get to be told what to do as well -- did I say that ?

Anyone who beleives that this administration is trying to save this country is both blind and dumb . It is so obvious that the plan is to bankrupt the country so we have to go to the IMF for money which will lead to Useless Nations control and be the easy gate way for the new world order . Count me out I will fight the good fight and if I am killed during the uprising to take back our country so be it . But setting back and watching idiots destroy what my people have fought and died to create and protect is not an option . Don't get me wrong I am no vigelante or "homeland terrorist " just a man whom beleives in the founding principles of this country . And a man whom beleives the new world order signals the coming of Christ . I will fight for my KING .

... is about as truthful as them saving and creating jobs on the 3rd district of the moon. Frankly, it's appalling that they thought they could slide that past we little stupid citizens and naively believe everything we are being spoon fed ...

They are bank robbers and should be in jail. I would love to help put them there. They are going to starve us into the new system, which by the way isn't new. That chair is getting closer to the wall.

The last act a criminal government does is loot the people.

According to the Obama's website my town received $12,188,290.00 and saved or created 45.8 jobs. The only thing is, none of the people I have talked to at city hall or the Commissioner's office know anything about new people on the payroll.

If you want to check out how much money(they claim) your local govt. received go here.

I wish so too, Sam. This is a good thread you started. I would like to add to it with something written up on page 5 of our very small town newspaper. It seems that the IRS is now being blamed by the Obama administration for structuring the $250.00 rebate BHO "gave" us a while back in such a fashion that many of us will have to pay it back! Yes, pay it back through our income tax in the form of a smaller rebate or a payment. This jack-ass and his team can't do anything right.

... I'm sure it's in a supporters, union rep or GE executives' bank account. This is typical of the Obama administration, screw the people of this country over and pay the supporters with the peoples' money for their vote.

A lot of our senators and representatives are just thieves, liars, and traitors. About all of the present Administration fall in these classes too. If we can't get enough voters to vote a big bunch of the present Politicians out in 20l0 and vote enough folks in to make the Government abide by our Constitution as written and understood by our Founding Fathers, Then our Great Country will be in great peril,(as if it isn't now.)
