1951 Polish M44 Oval 11

I have had my Polish M44 for quite a few years now and I always wanted to know if it was worth the $150 I paid for it. Here are the specs:

The bolt, butt, receiver and mag are all numbered c39979

The gun is in excellent near mint condition (bayonet and all) with no scratches anywhere. I own approx. thirty firearms and this is by far one of my favorites (after my 450 bushmaster)

Any ideas on what this might we worth??

Post this in the military surplus cat and look under Mosin-Nagant, you wil get help there.

Here is a page to see the rarity of your nagant to give you a judge for yourself:
Rarity of Mosin Nagant Rifle Variations
Also I looked in my "Standard Catalog of Military Firearms collector's price and reference guide" it lists that gun as Exc.-$300, V.G.-225, Good-200 and so on. I think by your explanation that it would be in the V.G. to Exc. range. But... real world prices I've been seeing 1952's go for more!

Hope this helps.
