... secondly, petrol ... do you think everything should be unionized? I am not in a union anymore and am paid very well, thanks. (I grew tired of the excessive dues without representation, the idiotic rules, the every other week pink slip and waiting on the hall to call me about work) The union paid well when I was working ... BUT didn't help much when I was out of work. Since the 'hall' wasn't getting us work, we had to do it ourselves and as for me I have thrived since.
... third, if we (or me) are that uneducated to understand how this healthcare bill will benefit us, please ... in all your knowledge ... tell me how. Additionally, it is not up to any of us to be forced to pay for others. What ever happened to the character trait of 'personal responsibility'? Now, I know some things need to be fixed ... BUT this does not require a 100% overhaul and the Govt. dictating who and how much. Have you considered that medical professionals being sued on a daily basis leads to the practice of defensive medicine which in turn leads to higher costs? Keep in mind, I am in no way defending insurance companies ... as I've always thought of them as the greatest scam in this country. There are better ways to lower costs than to give OUR Government total control. YOUR state Senator (Pelocchio) wants a single payer system just like Obama does ... which is Govt. controlled healthcare.
... obviously, what 'we the people' want and spoke out about in August was quickly forgotten by the politicians who just want to make their mark on American history no matter the cost.
... fourth, since Obama has taken office, he has spent more than all American Presidents combined and what do we have to show for it? Staggering unemployment, a housing crisis that only moved with tax benefits then cooled fast, no help for small businesses, etc. Ol Turbo Tax Geithner and his minions gave all our money to the banks with no precursors to lend to small businesses ... no wonder why they are getting richer and we are getting poorer. Bush started the bailout ... and Obama pushed the stimulus ... and may even push a second one. Obviously, the first one didn't work, how can there be any guarantee that a second one will? How the hell can we afford it ? How can small businesses and larger businesses in America absorb this Cap & Trade Bill? Before you know it ... I'll venture a guess here that the publicized unemployment rate will be at least 17% when and if Obama, the Congress/Senate, etc. shove this all down our throats. It will spike then ... and you guys will still blame Bush.
... lastly, please ... please ... please, tell me what he is doing right?
