| Traveling Libertarian | NO to health care.
I'd encourage EVERYONE to e-mail the following 4 senators listed in the link to have them vote NO and NOT bring this POS even up for debate in the senate. Mark Levin Here's what I sent if you wish to cut and paste this or some version: I DO NOT want the present health care bill brought up for debate or passed in any way, shape, or form. We need to scrap this and start over. All of the proposed bills serve simply to destroy what is working in our current health care system, raise taxes, increase government intrusion into our lives, and hurt people. Not only will this serve to bankrupt us, but will do so at the expense of our parents and children. What kind of wretched people could we be to be so self-centered as to forsake our parents and future generations simply to "get on the team" and ram "something" through because we can't master our fears and accomplish something real to help America. It is far better to leave well enough alone than to actively go out of our way to hurt people--ALL of the proposed bills do exactly this. Accounting tricks aside, we spend 3 Trillion to partially insure less than 10% of our population. The proposed legislation so far has been awful--full of bureaucracy, kickbacks, and special interest supporting rules serving only to limit our liberty while charging us dearly for the privilege. And yes, I and most of the American people very much do understand the situation and do "get it." Our primary problem is a COST issue; not an access issue. ALL of these bills INCREASE and exacerbate costs. NONE of them address the real problems of tort reform, eliminating barriers to insurance access, and doing something to TRAIN DOCTORS and build hospitals. Although I am a Texas resident, I have friends and/or relatives in your state. If you in any way choose to vote to bring this bill to the floor for debate or support it, I can assure you my friends, relatives, and I will devote all our resources to ensure you are defeated in the next election. Sincerely yours

| Contacted my Senators today
Of course thru there assistants. they will be happy to pass that info along to the senator. No they dont have a position on the bill yet they are still reading it. Same old bs. I can tell you right now that one of the two I contacted will most assuredly vote for it and the other is a probable as well . The latest poll in our state has Arkies dead set against it 60+ % . Both senators if I have my way will be gone next election time they are up for election.

I bet old Harry Reid put a lot of pork in there to sway the ones that need it most. States should of never relinquished funds to the feds, now we have to do their bidding to get it back. The states are broke because of the southern invasion. I used to live in La. and that state has been welfare since the 60's. The circle of poverty thrives there. Mary sold out. Vote her out.
