A few month's ago I started calling my Congessman and Senators. Haveing never done that before I wondered what would happen if I did.
I'm here to tell you it's easy to do.
They'll probable be a very nice lady answear the phone and you introduce yourself and then you tell the other person you want so and so to vote No or Yes.
The person on the other end will ask for your zip code normaly and that's all you do.
It's that simple. A black SUV will not show up at your house with Thugs armed with Uzi's.
So get into doing that ! Take charge and make your voice heard...A.H
Yes, this is Congress's way of doing away with The Constitution and gun owners know what that means. It only takes once to lose your guns. Vote them all out.
I've since learned and have posted a couple of letters from my Senators that they do NOT read 2nd & 3rd party letters of any type.
Either you do it yourself or don't.
I did this myself; I was just posting it for ease for those who wanted to put it on an e-mail; or to link to the probable "swing" senators' e-mail addresses which are in the link--so we could get everyone doing something to stop the runaway train. Even if you do some cut and pasting, you are still composing your own e-mail with your own name and addresses for those who choose to go this route; so's it's NOT a 2nd party letter.
OR call, or (best) do both; write, call, AND e-mail.
but DO SOMETHING; if this tears our country apart it'd be best to at least have a clear conscience of trying to head off the train wreck.

We need to let them know - if they continue on their present dangerous course, we will either VOTE them out or DRAG them out.
Obama learned one lesson from Bush2 and his police state legislation.
Declare some level of crisis and push legislation through without anyone understanding the details. Wrap the passage of legislation around
a great theme rather than what it will or will not do.
In the case of health care make it seem to be a moral imperative.
