Are you shooting with the bayonet?? Some Mosin Nagants were sighted in with the bayonet. I've heard everywhere that it can make a difference.. believe it or not.

Ok, from what i have just researched on another Mosin Nagant Forum you would drift the front sight in the direction your gun is shooting at.

Take a shot and basicly move the front sight to the hole in the target.

Use a hammer and a brass punch. And like they said, if it's shooting left, move the front sight to the left. How is your elevation, that one is trickier.

on my m44's i extend the bayonet to get it to the right. on 91/30's i drift the sight. use a sandbag under the front of the barrel when you do it and get someone else to hold the rifle for you. makes life easier!
