Foggy morning today for the first day of IL's deer season.. I found this spider web in the morning dew.. I wish I'd seen it earlier when it was completely wet..

The only thing I have seen while I was in my blind was a cat, a squirrel and hawk scoop up the squirrel and fly off. This is the worst season I have had in 25 years.

But seeing a hawk scoop a squirrel is a pretty cool thing to see. Once saw a bald eagle snatch a wounded pheasant that was spiraling down. I've forgotten most pheasants I've shot, but I'll never forget that thievin' eagle.
