9MM largo

I am thinking of loading for a 9mm largo and i want to know what dies to use?
1. 9mm luger?
2.38 super
3.9x23
4. some other cal. I have read where people have used all the above and also 380 or 38acp which is the best I am thinking maybe the 9x23 but want your advice.
PS 9 largo dies are over a hundred and these others are like 50 or less.

I understand that 9x23 Win dies can be used to load the 9mm Largo; but not the load data.
Look here: 9mm Largo Webpage

Yes even the brass but the brass is thicker so less powder is used. I just want to make sure i buy the right dies the first time.

I have the RCBS "3-Die Carbide" 9mm dies set, and it is labeled as being used for 9mm Luger, 9X21and 9X23 as well as .38 Super. Not a problem. It also has two different bullet seater plugs, for different bullet types.

I am using Winchester 9X23 brass, loaded to 9mm Largo specs.

The 9x23 is the closet bet. The Largo case is nearly .25 in loonger than the Parabellum so I doubt Parabellum dies will work.
The only way .380 dies would work is if you are neck sizing and nothing more...this, I think, would lead to a dangerous situation.
Unfortunately Largo is, more or less, considered a specialty die and will cost more to obtain.
Check your reloading manual and compare the case and cartridge dimensions for the 9x23 vs the Largo. Then make your decision.

Where are you finding the brass?
Can't find it around here and Starlite Brass is even a 'local' company.

How about in your backyard,, or close to it.

Graf & Sons - STARLINE BRASS 9MM LARGO UNPRIMED PER 100

One of these days I have to make the trip down to Graf's in Mexico. They have everything,, well except primers right now.

I bought WIn 9X23 brass from Grafs, and at that time, I got the last 100-pack of casesthey had. They may have more now. I am also using 100 .38 Super cases I had ordered earlier.
And 9mm Largo IS 9X23 - so my dies work fine. There are variations in extraction grooves, depending ont he particular brass - but my Star Modelo Super doesn't know the difference.

I bought this RCBS die set because it did specifically list the 9X23 and .38 Super as among it's calibers used for. A standard 9mm Luger die set may not work.

Rechecked my 9mm Largo brass - it is Starline 9X23Win. At the time, the actual Winchester brass was sold out. Prices were comparable for both.
