Our local county coroner has made a startling discovery. While doing autopsies, he has found more people dying of swine flu than what the CDC or our State Health Dept is saying. He's finding blood-filled lungs attributing to the deaths of many people. They have not been diagnosed or hadn't sought treatment. He says privacy laws prevent him from revealing any more details. The ones he's seen are middle aged people with no underlying health issues. He did say the underlying health issues affecting recovery are obesity and diabetes.
I'd say be prepared, eat right, exercise and seek medical attention early on.

conservative (realistic) medical professionals have stated all along H1N1 simply does not have the right configuration of protein coating plus internal viral configuration to become a pandemic disaster. Overall, the world population will simply not catch H1N1 flu.
I totally agree it has been a hype and politico circus for many, many months.
Should H1N1 mutate to have a protein coat capable of pandemic infection the current vaccine will do no good.
I have taken the current flu shot and will take the H1N1 shot if it becomes available not because I am fearful for my life but simply because I hope not to catch the flu this winter season.
