Roger that. Any legitimate nation can hold as many war games as they want. Likewise, we can observe via SatRecon or any other means, take notes and work them into our own war plans.

I don't get this playing war crap. You don't tell'em we're coming. You just come and bring it! Destroy until the other side capitulates or is gone. You don't rebuild either. They started it, let them rebuild it.
All this trying to rationalize killing. Either killing is right or it is wrong. If killing is right, then let's get busy. If not, stay at home.
War should be a last resort and it should be so devastating and disgusting that even the winner has a bad taste in his mouth. We marched across Europe and the South Pacific in less time than we're messing around in some f'n sandbox. Republican or Democrat, let's fight for real or bring our troops home. Swartzkoff(sp) would've done it right if it wasn't for some politician back home with no backbone.
There are a lot of things I don't agree with you about, this is not one of them. Very well put!! I couldn't have said it better.

I don't want the job of president but if it were my responsibility, we would have been out by now... As in already kicked ass, taken names, and came home! This BS stalling that our congress is doing is costing money, lives, and resources. However, the military is getting in a lot of testing for their equipment in case WW3 rolls around.

Obama promises to 'finish the job' in Afghanistan - Yahoo! News

I wonder what the final decision will be here. I hope he goes through with sending in more troops and finishes this thing.

It would be a breath of fresh air if the Commander-in-Chief would hand off this war and any war to his Generals and just say," Get it done. Tell me what you need, but get it done." I won't hold my breath.

They have reason to be prepared. They are following the rules of the International Atomic Committee, America and Israel aren't. But their leader had to shoot off his mouth and scare his neighbors and keeps suppling arms and IEDs to our enemy. We should not be too confident in controlling their airspace. What else is he hiding? Our troops are stretched too thin for this conflict, but Israel is chomping at the bit. I'm really tired of them starting trouble, and having our young soldiers take care of it. We should not be there grinding up our troops for nothing.

Unhappy

"We built this country with out help from anyone.
We defended this country without help from anyone.
We made this country prosperious without help from anyone.
The Buddist, the Hindu, the Muslum, the Gentile, they all think they have a place in this world." Chuckle, chuckle.
"This world was created for the Jew."
Thunderous applause.
One of Arial Sharon's later speaches.
Do we really want our kids to fight, kill, and die for that?
Yeah,I know war is big business, even if it is more of an occupation than a war, still lots of money to be made.
Israel is still makeing noises and hopeing we will yet again do their fighting for them if it is much more that a forey in to Palistine when they saw we wern't going to jump in and take over for them, they picked up their marbles and called it a day,or an occassional air strike over Gaza to blow up all those medical supplies we sent over there.
What the heck, beat the drum andgive the banksters what they want,I'm too dam old to care about my self, but my grandson is another matter, hate to see him wasted like so many other brave men and women.
I don't care if I'm banned,ridiculed or butt kicked,been there before.

Maybe we should drop a few Bunker Busters and join the games.

The only reason they would do this is if they ARE going to build NUCLEAR WEAPONS. I don't see a reason for pulling out of the treaty if they were making nuclear energy. It is only a matter of time before a war between Israel and Iran starts and we may get dragged into the middle of it.
