Rather than the Mexicans coming up here and demanding we change our gun laws to be as oppressive as theirs are, this is the kind of cooperation that will go towards reducing or eliminating the Mexican drug problem. You have to look at it with some suspicion given the source, but it's still a good program.

It seems like we always get screwed when we share sensative info with others. I see this potentially going South as well.

With the rampant corruption of the Mexican military and police, especially at the upper levels, I conjure up bad thoughts of our undercover agents being sold out. The cartels and their nearly unlimited supply of money seem to be able to buy off nearly anyone they set their minds to. If they can't out right buy them off there are other means to get them to side with the cartel. Like say, killing everyone near and dear to that person. I don't care how patriotic you are, if someone start killing your family and freinds you are going to give serious consideration to helping just to stop the blood shed.

Anyway, I hope this is effective without any loss of our guys.

We went to Iraq by mistake, Mexico is a lot closer and more urgent. 12,00 dead in Juaurez alone.
Just bomb the cartels compounds with bunker busters and chase down the rest, why is that so hard to do? Because they must use their socialistic influx to take our country into that mess.

Make it legal and the drug cartel goes down the drain...
