Judge throws out a lawsuit for a change!

Just saw on the news where the judge who was presiding over the lawsuit in which MacDonalds was sued by a set of parents because their kid got fat, threw the case out......

Common sense prevails finally!

I agree too, but...

Howdy,

I agree! This lawsuit was the penultimate in frivolity and idiocy. The very fact that it was filed is the height of stupidity and greed. Ooh, the poor victim. He didn't know that pounding down Big Macs like they were popcorn would be bad for him, even after his 3rd heart attack and his doctor telling him not to eat like a PIG!

But I also feel this is not over, much like Algore in the last presidential election, there will be appeals upon appeals....

I love trial lawyers, they are great for skeet shooting, and unlike a clay pigeon, these dung pigeons can be re-used several times!!!

Legal disclaimer: The above comments on skeet shooting is meant in the purist sense of sarcasm and twisted humor. I am not advocating violece to trial lawyers in any way ......no matter how tempting!
