Recommend me a stock please.

I'm thinking of replacing the A2 stock on one of my carbines with a collapsible one. I'd like something besides the standard CAR or M4 that doesn't cost $200+. What do you guys recommend?

look at the M4 Modular stock...around 80 bucks , has compartment for 4 batteries for holosights...Brownells has them...or a Magpul CTR for about 115.00..
The rest are all over 200.00

I would suggest a magpul myself. I've always been impressed with their quality. Also, if you buy one with battery compartments, you're adding some weight. Even more if you actually use them. Personally I don't see a need to carry them unless you have a red dot like mine that runs off one AA and I'm not sure when it'll go out. I carry one extra battery and no more.

ATI may have one that is less, but Moose made a good pick.

If you must have something that's collapsable, this won't do you much good, but I'll toss it out there as an option over the A2 stock... The ACE ARFX Skeleton stock.. More comfortable than a A2 and looks nice, too..

Brownells has them for $90, but you might be able to find them cheaper than that.. They get good reviews, too.. I took my A2 off my CAR and slapped one on the rifle in the photo.. My buddy's son thought it was cool, too..

Thanks!! It's just a Model 1 Sales CAR kit with a couple add-ons.. I like the way it looks, but I REALLY like the way it shoots..
