| Maybe its me..maybe I need to switch to decalf....but I am so freaking sick and tired of these actors, signers..pop starts....being quoated in the press...given page after page to rant and rave in newspapers....they are ACTORS...just because you play a Dr. on tv does NOT make you a DR! these liberal hollyweird dope smokeing, child molesting, multable DUI, tree hugging dirtballs need to shut up about what they think..get back on the stage and read their lines like the stupid little puppets they are and stay out of the adult real world matters! If they feel that this country is so "freakn evil" then pack your trash and leave!!!! |

I could care less what they have to say or who their with...etc., etc.,etc. My wife has to keep up on that crap and tell me so & so said this and that, and so & so is with so & so. I tell tell her most of them are just plain so & so's!

| I could not agree with the above mentioned post more. I mean, we all can have our own opinions on the world, but I don't need Hollywood to tell me what to think. I sometimes wonder if they just say/do some things just to get more publicity. I bet a lot of them quit school to go chase their dreams to be famous.... So when did they get the education to know so much about the world???

| All I can think of are the theatre majors from college, all a bunch of freaks and odd balls. They would do anything for applause and attention. To be in the "profession" you must be an egomaniac starved for attention. The only down to earth actors are the ones that have done something else to round out their personalities. Harrison Ford was a carpenter, James Gardner was in the merchant marine at 16 and picked chickens for a while, and Jimmy Stewert was an airforce pilot. Don't recall any of them marching around in front of a news camera telling other people they know whats best for them.

| ON THE OTHER HAND, the "other" stars like, Heston, Selleck, and others of that of ilk only rarely get to speak their thought in media outlets. media is quick to cover Barbra Striesands latest B/S, but doesn't for Ted Nugent. any one remember The American Sportsman on ABC in the 60's???and the celebrity hunters and fishermen??? think that show would fly now??? the "stars" need to stop trying to tell the American public how to be, and what to think. and the American public that follows them needs to get a life!!! |

| HMFIC ![]() | Who cares if one of them gets married and is caught having an affair with 12 other people...their opinion is still valued...see that is crazy. I think American''s are somewhat stupid on this issue because these shows and magazines would not be out there if they did not support them. But thankfully not all Americans are like this.

| Super Moderator ![]() ![]() | Seems to me that people who gain wealth, popularity, or notoriety, seem to begin thinking they are superior in their thinking...which is pure B.S. I'd have to agree with Dhermesc that there's a weird breed of cat (politicians, actors, lawyers) who tend to have grossly inflated ego's and usually begin dispensing their highly distorted opinions to those of us whom they perceive to be lowly poor non-political, uneducated, lawyer hating followers of the world. Ox

| For me....... I am not a number...I am a FREE MAN! I think for myself, thank you very much. And I don't need some dork tellin me what to do cause he was a star! That is why I find it funny that we all adore Mr Heston as head of the NRA. But then too, he is the head of the NRA because he believes the cause. I can't ever remember Mr Heston using his celebrity as a reason for anyone to lend creedence to his words or opinions. And that is the difference between Charelton Heston and Alec Baldwin and the like..... Oh, and there are the less obvious things about Charelton Heston. You know, integrity, honor and honesty. All stuff the Hollyweird Libs despise in a man.

| The media has celebrities speak because most of them lean to the left as much as the media does, and because stupid people believe what they say,and there are plenty of them, liberals, around.
