77/22 Stock

Ok, so I have an older Ruger 77/22 in .22 Magnum and it needs a new stock. It is blued and has a wood stock that has been butchered and I need to replace it, giving the old girl an overhaul with a new blue job and some other nice touches.

Trouble is I'm having a devil of a time finding a wood stock. I refuse to put a piece of plastic on it and short of a few hundred for a nice stock from a custom maker I can't find one other than to call Ruger.

I've been at this for several days with no luck

Any suggestions?

Sorry forgot to turn on notifications for this thread.

The sorry answer is "no" none of these folks and dozens of others I have searched through, make a replacement walnut stock for the 77/22.

I can find every kind of laminated/thumbhole what have you stock but nothing original, which is my goal.

Thanks though.
