The Muslim nations NEVER drank the koolade. The fundamentalists consider him a traitor to their faith, having switched (supposedly) to Christianity - this is the worst offense in Islam. They will never reconcile with bobo, much as HE seems to think they will. Each time he plays up to them and kowtows to them, he shows himself weak. They despise weakness, and WILL eventually either attack or take some other advantage. bobo has no idea how the Muslim mindset works, despite growing up in that culture.
The Empty Suit from Illinois may have done time in a madrassah as a kid, but that does not make him a Muslim. Much as I loathe the the man, people do need to remember that the skunk was one of the deacons at the "Reverend" Jeremiah Wright's church. I think that far more than whether or not Obama ever was a Muslim, and as I have said he never was, the question of why he never stood up and said, "Now wait just a minute there, Reverend Wright!" when Wright was thundering "God, damn America!" at the congregation of which Obama was a member is of greater concern. If you don't stand up and object to something that offensive, to me it means you agree with what the fool in the minister's robes is saying. Wright is notorious for advocating black separatism in America. Obama never said boo against that while he was a member of Wright's congregation. Why is this relevant, at last to me?
I remember back in 1970 when the church I grew up in lost its minister (he had to move to Arizona for his health; some kind of lung trouble), and hired a replacement who turned out to be a radical activist. He had somehow fooled the Board of Deacons about this, and his use of his pulpit to promote political views, environmentalism, getting-out-the-vote and other causes didn't sit well with the congregation. Ministers making you uneasy about the state of your soul is troubling enough; having them tell you what they think your stand ought to be about causes is infuriating. The churchgoers were grumbling about his misuse of his position and attendance began to fall off over a period of six months or so.
It came to a head one Sunday when the long-haired hippie-type pinko minister got on about the Vietnam War, its immorality, and how the soldiers are all fools and idiots for doing what their government told them to do without question. My dad, the last man in the world I'd have expected to do it, stood up and cut the useless bastard off in mid-rant right there in the church. He ripped him up one side and down the other. He asked everyone who had ever served in the military to stand up. About half the men in the congregation and a few of the women, including my mother, stood up. He mentioned that he had fought for his country, and so had they all, and it was because they and their buddies had bled and some of them died for their country that such a pompous asshole could stand up there raving about something he did not understand. He said he refused to listen to any more of his nonsense, and called on anyone who felt as he did to leave.
The church emptied out.
The Board of Deacons held an emergency meeting that afternoon and fired the minister. It was worth it to the congregation to have to pay that hippie sonofabitch the balance of his salary for the year to get him out of town immediately.
What Jeremiah Wright is promoting is hateful, racist and separatist. It's obvious to anyone with ears to hear and a brain to think with. Yet Obama never stood up and called him on it.
That to me makes Obama not a very good Christian, and a coward with the backbone of a chocolate éclair; but it does not make the whoreson a Muslim. So let's lay that particular canard to rest, why don't we?
"He has not made the world anew, history did not bend to his will, the Indians and Pakistanis have been told that the matter of Kashmir is theirs to resolve, the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the same intractable clash of two irreconcilable nationalisms, and the theocrats in Iran have not "unclenched their fist," nor have they abandoned their nuclear quest.?
Really? were you guys over there expecting one man and one nation to fix your problems that have lasted for over 2000 years? You people have always been fighting over land, power, religion (for power though), and money. not even the prophets Jesus or Muhammad was able to fix the problems of your warring lands. I doubt one American politician is going to make much of a difference. To even think it in the first place was arrogant.

The short version is, the Arabs HATE Americans, and most every other Westerner too. Big surprise. It doesn't matter who occupies the Whitehouse, Dubya, bobo or any one else. Simple.
They have been cantankerous and contrary SOBs for centuries - why expect them to change just because Mr. Hype&Chains himself is conning the Ship of State.........?
from what I can determine just about everyone has stopped applauding Obama and, I might add, with just cause.
Have a great day.
The incredibly old Henry Kissinger made an interesting comment on Obama that got very little press coverage. Kissinger said Obama was just like a chess player who has several boards in front of him. He has made all sorts of interesting opening moves but has yet to
move forward on any board and, obviously, has taken nothing to conclusion.
Psychologically, I am beginning to see Obama as an "idea man" who then depends on others to carry the ball (so to speak). This kind of person always finds other people to be lacking in ability or wanting in basic talent when things don't happen. Eventually, he should
begin having troubles with his White House staff and the national Democratic Party.
So, one big telltale act will come when some cabinet members and top aides "go to other opportunities".

As I've said before, Obama does not remind me of any historical figure, despite his delusion that he is a Man of Destiny. (I note that both Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini had the same delusion. Look where they ended up.) There is, however, one character from a work of fiction that he does remind me of, and strongly: Major Frank Burns, from Richard Hooker's classic book M*A*S*H.
There are two exchanges from the book that sum up Frank Burns very well.
Hawkeye Pierce (to Hot Lips Houlihan): "Frank Burns does not know his way around an operating theater, he does not know his way around a body. And if you will have observed anything, you will have observed that Major Frank Burns is an idiot. That he has flipped his wig, he's out of his head, that he's a lousy surgeon."
Duke Forrest (to Henry Blake): "Frank Burns is a menace! Every time a patient croaks on him he says it's either 'God's will,' or somebody else's fault."
Obama may not be a doctor, but those two quotes say it all about him. He does not know his way around the levers of power Washington; he does not know his way around the body politick; he is out of his head and he is a lousy president. Further, if something goes wrong, it's never his fault. It's always "God's Will," or the fault of one of his subordinates. We have already seen several of his minor minions forced out of Washington, or never even be allowed to join the administration.
We have seen the party of which he is the nominal head take a licking in two states they thought were theirs to command. We see him unable to meet deadlines or do anything that might help the American people, but boy, can he help Big Business and Wall Street! The jerk has never learned how to lead. He's great at rhetoric when the chips are not down, during a campaign; but for the first time in his life he has a job where he has to mark his orders and account for the actions he takes. And he can't deal with it.
He's the wrong man in the wrong job at the wrong time. And the United States of America cannot afford even four years of Obama and Obamism, much less eight. Like nathangdad, I expect the rats to begin fleeing the sinking ship - sometime around the time of the midterm elections, at a guess; before that, if he can't point to some major foreign policy and domestic policy successes.
Hard for anyone to applaude this guy. He is like watching a squirrel deciding weither to cross the road or not. Their as dumb founded as the people who voted him in are i'll bet!
Frankly, I don't care what the arabs think, he's our President. As for our President, I detest how he blames every ill on his predecessor. Although I am no fan of his predecessor, the incumbent's lack of class denegrates him to the lowest form and makes it obvious that he will never accept responsibility for his failures (of which many are about to unfold).
^ Indeed. Career politicians are all out of touch with everyday America, and serve no discernable purpose.
When we take our Government back, we must vote for "change" by changing out these morons. We must send people who know our problems because they have lived them.
