Is this ammo safe for Ljungmann and accurate for M96?

Hey guys, I had planned on purchasing some of the original Swedish surplus stuff so I could try out my ljungmann rifle but alas they are sold out. Don't worry, I know about the possibility of problems when trying to fre commercial ammo in these rifles, due to a difference in powder burn. I actually looked pretty deep into it a while back but don't recall anyone saying rather or not this ammo was usable.

"This is 1970s production by Hirtenberger Austria, made for the Swedish Army. Brass-cased, Berdan-primed and non-corrosive with a full metal jacket. 139 grain.

Muzzle Velocity: 2,500 F.P.S. Muzzle Energy: 1,928 ft.-lbs. Velocities and energies may vary slightly."

I don't think you have to worry. The M96 should handle it quite well.

That stuff is some of the best ammo you will ever encounter regarding surplus. I am not sure any surplus is rated higher that that.

Ok, perfect. Glad to hear that it's good stuff. Should I worry about oiling the cases or whatever?
