Talking 4 Day Deer Season... Who's Going?

Thursday kicks off our 4 day deer hunting extravaganza for this year... who else is headed into the woods?




Oh.. and I read a good bumper sticker...

I done got my two deers on the first season. Makes me wish I'd bought a muzzle loader tag as well. Who woulda thunk it.
I think I will be bunny hunti'n Thursday though.

I killed out during first season so it looks like I'm done until next october. Makes me glad I got a lifetime license before I moved away.

Good luck on the bunnies Jerry! There are TONS of squirrels down there and you CAN see them now! You will have to come over for some squirrel/coyote hunt one of these coming weekends!

I dropped the kid off at HS this morning and drove down the riverfront road and watched the timberline for a little bit. I think they are moving in afternoon more than morning... but me and Jack will be out there freezin' our tushies off since we still got some tags to fill!

Just got a call from my brother, "meat head" He just took a well earned big doe with his .50 cal Remington Muzzle Loader. Good job Jason!

Congrats Jason.... I got do or die tomorrow!!!!!!!!!

They are down there... just getting them to decide to grace the cross hairs of my scope is the trick! LOL

Coyote season will be in full swing for me starting next week! Anybody shootin' dawgs?

thanks guys first muzzleloader kill liked it so much think I will stick with it for the full time deer gun coyote hanging around on Saturday not sure if he was the reason I didn't see any deer but I think I need to go look for him with a rifle. so will be out for the late season hunt

LOL... will be joining the late season club myself this year.

Always wanted to hunt in fresh snow... all I ever get is frozen and windy... gotta love IL deer hunting

I tagged out the last M-L hunt with 2 anterless & a coyote. The coyote slowed down in a more open area about 75 yrds out. I used my Knight M-L & Blackhorn 209 powder.
